Key Club meets In Room #224 at 2:15 every Tues. Come make new friends, Key club is a community service group sponsored by the Kiwanis club Of Pahrump.

Faithful Youth Ministry (FYM) meets Mondays after school in room 9.


Yearbooks are on sale for $80 both online at and in school. In school you must pay in cash. You can buy them in the main office with Mrs. Villa and Miss Kendra or with Mrs. K before school or during Power Hour.

Interact Meets at 2:15 in room 233.  Come join us for a chance to make a real difference while having fun! Interact is a service club and is sponsored by Pahrump Valley Rotary.  Meetings are Thursday room 233 at 2:15. See Mrs. Cunningham for more information.

ATTN: SENIORS!!  There is information available in the counseling office regarding different "Search Engines" you can use to research scholarships available to graduating seniors


ATTN: SENIORS!  The University of Wyoming has several scholarships available for entering freshmen.  If you are interested in attending the University of Wyoming see Mrs. Luck in counseling for more information.


The Rotary Club of Pahrump Valley will award two $500.00 scholarships, one academic and one vocational, to attend an accredited college or trade school of the student’s choice.  Applications are available in the counseling office.  DEADLINE: MARCH 31, 2019.




SENIORS: The Kathy Gailey “Making A Big Difference” scholarship was established in memory of Kathy Gailey a former counselor for Nye County School District. This scholarship will be awarded to a Nye County high school Senior who has established an exemplary commitment to community service. Please note the corrected DEADLINE OF MARCH 15, 2019.


Pahrump Disability Outreach Program will award two $500.00 scholarships to graduating seniors for the academic year 2018-2019, to attend an accredited college or trade school of his or her choice for any field that supports individuals with disabilities. Completed scholarship applications must be received no later than April 1, 2019. Applications are available in the counseling office.


ATTENTION SENIORS!!  Great Basin College has numerous scholarships available for the 2019-2020 school year.  The application can be downloaded at  There are also applications available in the counseling office. DEADLINE:  March 8, 2019.


ATTENTION SENIORS!!  The Nevada Telecommunications Association Scholarship application is now available.  This $1000 scholarship is available to graduating seniors.  The criteria for the scholarship states that it is designed for children of “customers of the Association’s member local exchange telephone companies”.  Please review the criteria carefully to determine if you qualify.  Additional information can be found in counseling.  DEADLINE:  April 15, 2019.


ATTENTION SENIORS!!  VALLEY ELECTRIC ASSOCIATION scholarship applications are now available.  VEA offers two full time academic scholarships, two full time vocational/technical scholarships, and two part time continuing education scholarships.  These scholarships are open to the entire membership.  Please check in the counseling office for more information.  DEADLINE:  March 1, 2019.


ATTENTION SENIORS!!  If after graduation you are interested in learning a trade through a paid apprenticeship program please see Mrs. Luck in the counseling department for information.  The JATC is accepting applications. 


ATTENTION SENIORS!!!  Pahrump’s Martin Luther King Foundation Scholarship application is now available in the counseling office.  Application must be received no later than April 15, 2019.   Stop by counseling for an application.


The Kiwanis Club of Pahrump Valley Scholarship application is now available.  This scholarship is available to all and may be used to attend a 2 year trade school, technical college, or a 4 year university. Applications are available in the counseling office.  DEADLINE: MARCH 30, 2019.


Hello parents, PVHS is proud to announce that TUTORING is still being offered.  Tutoring subjects are Math, English, Science, and Spanish. Times are from 2:30 to 3:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday. Please refer to PVHS website for more details.  Thank you!


It's that time again when the Music Department is selling their Sing-a-Grams for Valentines Day.

For $3 you can choose a song for Select Choir to sing to a person of your choice during 5th period on February 14.

Sing-a-Grams will be on sale during both lunches until February 13.
