Key Club meets In Room #224 at 2:15 every Tues. Come make new friends, Key club is a community service group sponsored by the Kiwanis club Of Pahrump.

Interact Meets at 2:15 in room 233.  Come join us for a chance to make a real difference while having fun! Interact is a service club and is sponsored by Pahrump Valley Rotary.  Meetings are Thursday room 233 at 2:15. See Mrs. Cunningham for more information. 




Sign up for driver education at Great Basin College! New classes begin each month. Enroll early, so you can get your password and welcome letter.

ATTN: SENIORS!!  There is information available in the counseling office regarding different "Search Engines" you can use to research scholarships available to graduating seniors




ATTN: SENIORS!  The University of Wyoming has several scholarships available for entering freshmen.  If you are interested in attending the University of Wyoming see Mrs. Luck in counseling for more information.




ATTENTION SENIORS!!  The Nevada Telecommunications Association Scholarship application is now available.  This $1000 scholarship is available to graduating seniors.  The criteria for the scholarship states that it is designed for children of “customers of the Association’s member local exchange telephone companies”.  Please review the criteria carefully to determine if you qualify.  Additional information can be found in counseling.  DEADLINE:  April 15, 2019.




ATTENTION SENIORS!!  If after graduation you are interested in learning a trade through a paid apprenticeship program please see Mrs. Luck in the counseling department for information.  The JATC is accepting applications. 




ATTENTION SENIORS!!!  Pahrump’s Martin Luther King Foundation Scholarship application is now available in the counseling office.  Application must be received no later than April 15, 2019.   Stop by counseling for an application.




ATTENTION SENIORS!!!  THE Pahrump Valley Lions Club Scholarship Application is now available in the counseling office.  Please see Mrs. Luck for information and an application. DEADLINE: APRIL 30, 2019.




ATTENTION SENIORS!!!  2019 Nevada Association of Conservation Districts Scholarship application is now available in the counseling office.  This scholarship is available to students who will attend a 2 or 4 year institution.  Applications must be received no later than April 15, 2019.  Stop by counseling for an application/information.




ATTENTION YOUNG MEN!! Please remember that the federal government requires that you register for the selective service within 30 days of your 18th birthday.  


This requirement must also be met in order to receive grants or loans for continuing education.  You can register at your local post office or online at






Applications are now being accepted for the NAEHCY scholarship.  This scholarship is specifically designed for homeless/students in transition.  To access the application and full details visit the NAEHCY website at  APPLICATION DEADLINE: APRIL 30, 2019.




SENIORS:  Please note that we have received applications for a new scholarship offered by PAHRUMP VALLEY REPUBLICAN WOMEN.  Two $1000 scholarships will be awarded.  DEADLINE: MAY 3, 2019. Applications are available in the counseling office.




Hello parents, PVHS is proud to announce that TUTORING is still being offered.  Tutoring subjects are Math, English, Science, and Spanish. Times are from 2:30 to 3:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday. Please refer to PVHS website for more details.  Thank you!

Anyone who is interested in playing soccer (boys and girls) can come out for the spring kick around on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm on the field.

The Miss Pahrump Pageant is now seeking young women between the ages of 13 and 18 who will be entering freshmen through senior in the next school year of 2019-2020. Would you enjoy fun summer activities and gaining poise, confidence and life skills through pageant participation? If you are interested and want more information on the pageant and important dates, you may pick up an information packet in the main office during school hours. The mandatory Orientation meeting will be held Thursday, April 11th at the Best Western Restaurant meeting room beginning at 6:00 pm.

Students please stop by the library and pay your library fines. Remember if you are a Senior you need to pay your fines and get them signed off before you graduate.

On April 10 after school there is a field trip opportunity to tour the Pahrump Courthouse and Jail for any PVHS student. Please come sign up with Mr. Abbiss to get more infomation spots are limited






Mrs. Dabrowski's Artist have art work displayed at the Pahrump Community Library until the end of

April for Youth Art Month.  Students have around 400 artworks and mask.  The address is  701 East

St and the Library is open 9:00-6:00 pm M-F and Saturday 10:00-5:00 pm.  Please go by and see

their creative talent. THANK YOU

For finishing phase I at 100% a week early.  These six girls move to Phase II starting April 22, 2019.   Mrs. Dabrowski and

the Cyber six would also like to Shout out and thank Cyber Coaches Andrew Molt and Mr. Dabrowski.  The Cyberstart

Club provides young women in high school and college with an opportunity to learn cybersecurity skills, discover their

cyber talents, and explore what a career in the field entrails.


The results are in for the race to fill collection bottles to support the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society's "Penny Drive" hosted by the Key Club.  There was a tie for first place so both first period classes will get doughnuts and juice later on this week.  "Speedy"

Thompson and "Front Row" Crystal Dabrowski with four bottles.  The first loser was "Happy" Harris

with two bottles.  Also in the race with one bottle filled were "Gas Pedal" Parrish, "Demolition" Dean,

"Water Boy" Boucher, "Bad Wreck" Bridges, and "Babe Ruth" Pape.  A thank you goes out to all the

students and staff who contributed to the racing cause.
