Monkey.app allows users to connect with strangers through quick video chats. While it may seem like a harmless way to meet new people, there are serious concerns for children's safety. The app's lax age verification lets young users bypass restrictions, exposing them to inappropriate content, including sexual themes and cyberbullying. Be aware that Monkey.app is popularized through social media like TikTok and Instagram, making it easily accessible to curious kids. Talk to your children about online safety and the dangers of talking to strangers on video chat. Consider parental controls on devices to restrict access to age-inappropriate apps.
