Dear Parents, Guardians, and Students,
To ensure the safety, security, and minimal disruption of our learning environment, we would like to remind everyone of our policy regarding outside food deliveries:
· The use of delivery services (such as DoorDash, UberEats, and GrubHub) by students is strictly prohibited. For security reasons, delivery drivers are not permitted on campus, and the office will not accept or hold these orders.
· We kindly ask that parents refrain from bringing outside or restaurant meals to the office during the school day. Our office staff is focused on student safety and administrative tasks; managing meal drop-offs creates significant congestion and interrupts instructional time.
· For safety and liability reasons, parents and guardians are not permitted to bring food for students who are not their own. Please only provide meals for your specific child.
Students are encouraged to bring lunch from home or utilize the school cafeteria services. However, in the event of a student forgetting their lunch, the following actions may be taken:
1. Students may use the main office phone to call a parent or guardian to arrange for a lunch to be brought from home to the school.
2. Students may obtain a meal, at no charge, directly from the school cafeteria.
Note: Under no circumstances should a forgotten lunch be resolved by ordering through a third-party delivery app by the student or parent.
We appreciate your support in focusing on instruction, as well as your cooperation in keeping our front office organized and our campus secure.
Sincerely,
Desiree Veloz, Pahrump Valley High School
