As the school year winds down and the Nevada sun starts heating up, Nye County School District is making sure our students stay nourished and ready for all their summer adventures. We are thrilled to announce the return of our Summer Food Service Program (SFSP), providing free, nutritious meals to children across our communities.
Who Can Participate?
The program is open to all children and teens ages 2 to 18. There are no enrollment requirements or fees—just show up! To receive a meal, the child must be present at the time of pick-up.
Please note: Children currently enrolled in a summer educational program are not eligible for pick-up meals while that program is in session because they will receive meals as part of that program.
What’s on the Menu?
We are providing both breakfast and lunch to help keep energy levels high.
Fresh & Convenient: Meals are provided in a frozen or cold format, making them easy to take home.
Stay Updated: Menus are subject to change, but you can always view the latest offerings online at https://schools.mealviewer.com/.
To ensure families have meals throughout the week, we follow a specific distribution schedule:
Mondays: Pick-up includes breakfast and lunch for Monday through Wednesday.
Thursdays: Pick-up includes breakfast and lunch for Thursday through Sunday.
Pick-Up Locations & Schedules
Our dedicated Food Service team has organized multiple pick-up sites to serve the Pahrump area. Please note that dates vary by location:
