During the Spring Sports Parent Meeting Kendra McCauley received her NIAA Athletic Secretary of the Year Ring from the State of Nevada. Jason Odegard, our Athletic Administrator, was honored to present it to her. We are proud of you Kendra! Thank you for all your hard work!




PVHS received a SafeVoice tip today concerning a student with a knife on campus. The administration acted immediately to address the concern and a student was taken into custody by the NCSO.
No student was harmed during this incident. The safety and security of all students and staff is a top priority. School administrators will continue to respond expeditiously to any and all safety concerns.

Congratulations to sophomore Tiffini Thompson for winning the student speakers contest at the club level with the Pahrump Lions Club, District 46. This year's topic was "How Can We Fight the Opioid Crisis?" Tiffini will now compete at the zone level. Congratulations Tiffini!

As we look forward to second semester beginning tomorrow at PVHS, here are a few semester one highlights! Mr. Andrew Norton was recognized as Innovator of the Year, the Golf team was recognized for 2nd place at State, and Cross Country runners were recognized for their outstanding running efforts!

PVHS staff played after school to have a chance at being PVHS's First-ever Grand Turkey Master Champion! Sarah Grove won overall, although Mrs. Wichael showed her skills with a bullseye! Each winner won a turkey donated by Albertson's!




PVHS Spaghetti Dinner Trophy Winner - It was a great turnout for the Moose Lodge 808 & Chapter 1141 Donation dinner for the Homeless Student's Activity Fund. Lots of entertainment, raffle prizes, desserts, and really good spaghetti. It came down to the wire between PVHS and JG Johnson Elementary School for the most attendees. Hope to see you all next year for this annual event. Who will get the trophy next year??A great night and a great cause.

No plans for dinner? Come down to the Moose Lodge for a great spaghetti dinner! Help us raise money for our homeless students here in Nye County! It is donation based and we have a raffle with lots of great prizes!





Honoring our Veterans! Today we honored our staff members that have served our country. Our administrative team joined them for cake and stories of their time in the military.





PVHS Culinary Arts Level III students invited special guests to the table today as they served up an incredible menu!
